The Anglonordic life science conference in May is where it’s all happening. Five companies will complete the spring round of Bridge Market Check and get the opportunity to pitch their business concepts to investors and network with decision makers from the UK’s NHS healthcare system.
Anglonordic is an annual “by-invitation-only” life science conference. It is the only one in the UK that is exclusively for European investors and R&D companies from the Nordics and the UK to connect with each other.
Addbuttment, Lytics, Medicase, Methodicare and Tummylab are participating in this round of Sahlgrenska Science Park’s ‘Bridge Market Check’ internationalisation program. With help from Business Sweden, the five companies have benefitted from a first mapping of their potential market.
“The mapping is a concrete first tool for us and we are now really looking forward to meet relevant contacts and to present our product,” says Nicklas Oscarsson, CEO at Medicase.
Great Britain is committed to a national strategy to work actively to ensure that new innovations benefit patients as quickly as possible. This is one of the reasons why Britain can be a good first international market.
“We have a packed and exciting agenda during these two intensive days. Besides lectures, pitches and workshops, the companies also have individual meetings with NOCRI, an organisation that helps to navigate the English healthcare system. This ensures good momentum moving forward,” says Erik Heimer.
