“All finalists have innovative solutions with great potential to contribute to improvements in healthcare. In addition, developments have taken place in close collaboration with end-users, “says Emma Spak, juror member and chairman of the Medical Association’s Medical, IT and Medical Technology Council.
For the first time, Sahlgrenska Science Park, Vitalis, Cerner and Nordic Connected Health Star Track launch eHealth Award, an award in line with the government’s and SKL’s “Vision e-Health 2025”. The goal is to pay attention to innovations in digital health that exist in Sweden today, as they can contribute to more effective and safer care processes and more committed patients.
– Digital services will not replace traditional forms of care but good services can improve both the work environment and quality and patient safety. Therefore, it is important to highlight good examples so that they can begin to be used as quickly as possible, “says Martin Andreasson, jury member and regional council in VGR.
Mevia‘s innovative technology helps individuals take the right dose of medicine on time, and communicates in real time with a doctor, patient or relative. The solution is based on functional pressure, adapted to different types of drug packaging, and sends real-time information via the GSM network when taking drugs. This increases the compliance and thus the treatment quality and patient safety.
Coala Life is a medical technology company focused on cardiac diagnostics and mobile health. The company has developed the Coala Heart Monitor, a patented technology and a commercial solution for remote monitoring and self-screening of heart sounds and ECG. The technology has been developed with researchers from several Swedish universities and prominent cardiologists.
CollaboDoc has developed a modern and unique software, a process tool that supports an effective workflow with close collaboration and minimal administration, involving patients in their own care. The tool works in conjunction with all journal systems and allows the physician to focus completely on the meeting with the patient because the documentation is done in an instant.
