The Life Science West collaboration Group (“Samverkansgruppen” in western Sweden) recently made a study visit to Oslo and was inspired.
“A fantastic study visit, where we gained a lot of new knowledge about how Oslo has built up research and innovation environments. This strengthens the work we are doing with our science parks and test beds in the public sector. Very useful on many levels and something we will repeat in the near future, maybe to one of our other Nordic neighbours,” says Hanna Blomdahl at Regional Development at Region Västra Götaland.
At Norway Health Tech new medical technology is tested in a real care production environment. The Västra Götaland Region Image and Intervention Center (BoIC) at Sahlgrenska University Hospital can offer the same conditions and opportunities. The Oslo Cancer Cluster also held an inspiring visit to its innovation-promoting environment.
Participants of the Oslo study visit were: Hanna Blomdahl (VGR), Alessio Degl’Innocenti (Gothia Forum), Niklas Magnell and Magnus Björsne (AstraZeneca Bioventure Hub), Lina Strand Backman and Susanne Dahlberg (Innovationsplattformen), Henrik Mindedahl (MedTech West) and Åsa Lindström and Charlotta Gummeson (Sahlgrenska Science Park)
