In our facilitating role, we have already connected Danish stakeholders in artificial intelligence (AI) and researchers at the Wallenberg Centre for Molecular and Translational Medicine (WCMTM) at the University of Gothenburg. In addition, Julia Grönros took the opportunity to network at the Park Annual event in September and is now raising awareness about and inviting to WCMTM´s annual event on 1 February 2018.
”I got a lot of inspiration from the Park Annual event. The mingle sessions were very rewarding and the live polls were good fun,” says Julia Grönros, Research Coordinator at the Wallenberg Centre for Molecular and Translational Medicine (WCMTM) and Research Advisor at the Grants & Innovation Office at the University of Gothenburg.
WCMTM recruits outstanding research talents in molecular medicine, for example within neuroscience, metabolism, degenerative medicine, cancer and inflammation.
The original idea to build the centre came from the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation. Besides the University of Gothenburg, AstraZeneca, Sahlgrenska University Hospital and Region Västra Götaland are all supporting the initiative.
The Danish AI platform for business, IBM Watson, contacted us earlier this year and asked to be connected with the WCMTM. We set up a meeting and made it happen.
