Jenni Nordborg, Head of Health at Vinnova, will lead a newly established life science office at the Ministry of Industry at the Swedish Government Office.
The government made this announcement as Anders Lönnberg’s mission as the Government’s National Life Science Coordinator expired on 31 January. The purpose of a permanent life science office is to coordinate and clarify the priorities. Jenni Nordborg will also continue working part-time at Vinnova, whilst Anders Lönnberg will strengthen Sweden as an export nation in his new role as General Commissioner for the World Exhibition in Dubai.
